The Best Way to End Procrastination • Part I
Today’s message is part of an ongoing series to end procrastination. Here, you’ll utilize the slow, steady, and friendly approach. Explore, reflect, and act before reading the next post. It’s never about gathering information, it’s about taking little steps while being kind to yourself. Congratulations on the step you take today. You’re doing great.
Do you have a box sitting on the floor that you don't want to go through?
A blank journal in your drawer that you haven't written in.
An anticipated conversation with a loved one that sits on the back burner, with a high flame.
Not only do over-thinkers procrastinate in some areas of their life, but they tend to be troubled by it, wishing it would change.
And, it can. I've seen big changes in life-long procrastinators.
I'll be sharing pointers for each letter of p-r-o-c-r-a-s-t-i-n-a-t-i-o-n in the weeks ahead.
In the meantime, bring something to mind, something you've been putting off that you'd like to take care of for your good mental or physical health.
When you have it, write it down. And keep an eye out for my next post.
We'll move slow.
Because going slow is the best way to loosen the roots of procrastination. Once the roots are loose, you get to decide whether you want to easily pull the procrastination plant up-and-out, or let the roots re-tighten.
