The 2nd R in procRastination is for rest.


That’s right, when you have piles of stuff to do…


Go to sleep.


Behave counter-intuitively to spark insight.


Ignore the thought that says, you can’t rest, you have too much to do.


This thought leads to a robotic lifestyle.


If you’ve ever done less than you thought necessary, yet achieved more than you thought you could, you know that following the thoughts of more - more - more, don’t always lead to more.


Believing thoughts that keep you in the grind, drain you from creative spark.


Which gets you less.


Give yourself the go ahead to shut down and sleep. In addition to the sleep you got last night.


Whether it’s an hour long nap, or a 5-minute-refresher, do it without guilt.


You’re not a machine.


And even if you were, machines need rest to work optimally.


Lean back, close your eyes, and say,


‘As I rest creative sparks will come through on how it'd be good for me to proceed’.


Once you're refreshed, you'll tackle your pile in a fun, effective way.


PS. You can also take a mini-rest while standing if you can't go horizontel. Close your eyes and say friendly words to yourself
