Should You Accept Blame? • Part XI
Who blames you?
You ruined the party.
You ruined the day.
You ruined my life.
You might even slip into blaming yourself at times.
Blame is a trap that keeps all parties confused, and minds stagnant. A stinky murky swamp that suffocates life, instead of refreshes it.
Don’t blame yourself, or others.
When others blame you, let them know you won’t accept blame because that would prevent them from getting the revelation that sits behind their blame, hidden while in the act of blaming.
Not accepting blame is not the same as not accepting responsibility.
Accept responsibility for anything unloving you’ve done to yourself or others. And clean it up as needed and helpful.
But set the boundary firm on a no-blame policy.
It’s not the way out of pain. And will only lead you into more of it.
Could releasing even the most subtle blame catapult you into something greater than you now know?
PS: Part of the ‘procrastination series’, the ‘n’ in procrastination stands for never blame
